Diane Fund
A charitable organization built from a local fundraiser into an ongoing community with events, merchandise, donors, and volunteers.
- $200K+ raised
- 20+ events
- 100+ donors and volunteers
Overview
Diane Fund demonstrates how a clear mission, consistent operating cadence, and community ownership can turn a single event into a durable organization.
The starting point
The organization began as a direct response to a family and community need. The early challenge was not simply raising money once, but building enough trust and operating structure to keep the effort useful year after year.
What I built
I owned strategy, fundraising events, digital presence, merchandise, donor communication, volunteer coordination, and community partnerships. Each channel was designed to reinforce the same mission rather than operate as a separate campaign.
Sustaining momentum
A mixed model of in-person events, online campaigns, direct giving, and merchandise reduced dependence on any single source of support and created more ways for people to contribute.
Outcomes
- Raised more than $200K in total funds.
- Produced more than 20 community events.
- Generated more than $20K through merchandise.
